Community Board 8 Meeting on Thursday

There will be a CB8 meeting on Thursday, December 11, 2008 @ 7:00 p.m. @ the Marcus Garvey Nursing Home 810 St. Marks Avenue (bet. Brooklyn and New York Avenues). Please try to attend.

Name Change

I spoke with Michelle at Community Board 8 this morning. She informed me that "The Bergen Street Block Association" is already in use. Our association will now be called "The Rebirth of Bergen Street Association." Our blog's name will remain the same www.thebergenstreetblockassociation.blogspot.com.

Interest Meeting

We are currently working on setting a date, place and time for an interest meeting. This will give us an opportunity to share ideas, nominate and possibly vote for the following offices: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.

Once we have the location and date for the meeting, we will post it.
