Between last night and this morning about 4 cars were vandalized, including mine. The windows were broken and the interiors were ransacked. Our dvd player and two monitors were stolen and a nominal amount of pocket change. This is concerning.
I'm off to have the glass replaced (an expense I didn't foresee and a trip I did not plan).
Does anyone know the other victims?
What can we do to prevent this?

I saw broken glass two days ago, on the South side of the street right next to Brooklyn Ave. Maybe part of the same crime wave.

Well...I'm back and my wallet is $165 lighter. The guys at Mel Clyde Ricks Auto Glass Repairs on Troy Avenue were great; I hope to never need their services again.
Yes...I did notice broken glass towards New York Avenue as well.
After speaking with two gentlemen (one of them a victim), the other gentleman stated that the person behind this lives across the street in one of the pre-war buildings. He allegedly is a short, hispanic man with a drug problem.
The victim vowed that if he caught him there was going to be some rough justice.
I just want this person caught asap!!!
